Born Linda Denise Blair on Jan. 22, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, she was raised in the town of Westport, CT by her parents, James Blair, a job placement executive, and Elinore, a real estate agent. Pretty and precocious from a young age, Blair began modeling at the age of six, although her earliest ambition was to become a veterinarian.
