Say hello to "Freedom" I saved her from slaughter this morn & named her Freedom! Her sister and 4 other horses were saved from being taken to Mexico to be slaughtered for human consumption. Thank you to Becky's Hope Horse Rescue, Inc. for saving and giving these babies a forever home!
Horse slaughter is brutal and horrific, they are shipped for more than 24 hours without food and water. Many die in transit. Horses are then led to slaughter and stabbed in the neck, or hoisted up until they bleed out. I've been to Capitol Hill many times trying to stop the slaughter! Please help me by contacting your Representative or Senator and let them know how you feel and support the SAFE Act, which would prevent horse slaughter in the US and shipping them to Canada or Mexico! 💔🐴#BanHorseSlaughter #SaveOurHorses
