Ben Affleck In Talks To Join 'The Accountant,' Will Be Naked In
Ben Affleck, who stars in the highly anticipated "Gone Girl" and 2016's "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice," is already thinking about his next move.

The actor is in negotiations to star in the thriller "The Accountant," according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film centers on an accountant who moonlights as an assassin.

Gavin O'Connor is in talks to direct the Warner Bros. project, while Bill Dubuque is writing the script. The project was included on the Black List of most anticipated screenplays in 2011.

Adam Sandler To Star In Four Original Films For Netflix
Netflix is expanding its original content once again by signing on Adam Sandler to star in four original films that won't screen in theaters.

The films will be available exclusively to members in the nearly 50 countries where Netflix operates.

Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos explained: "People love Adam’s films on Netflix and often watch them again and again. His appeal spans across viewers of all ages — everybody has a favorite movie, everyone has a favorite line — not just in the US but all over the world."

It's been almost two years since video game maker Rovio revealed that its hugely popular app "Angry Birds" would be flying into movie theaters as an animated feature, and on Wednesday the company, along with distributor Sony Pictures Entertainment, revealed the first still shot from the film along with the stellar voice cast.

Fans of the game took to their slingshots over the last 48 hours with one goal in mind: helping to launch a billion birds in order to unlock the list of stars and the first image from the film, which is nearly guaranteed to be a box office smash.

'Twilight' To Be Resurrected In Five Short Films On Facebook
The "Twilight" film saga, which was thought to end with "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in 2012, is making a comeback. The vampire franchise is being resurrected in the form of short films that will be released on Facebook.

The final big-screen film was released two years ago; however, Lionsgate has partnered with the social media website to bring it back, according to the New York Times.

The five mini-movies, titled "The Storytellers - New Creative Voices of the Twilight Saga," will be based on characters from the franchise. However, the original cast will not be featured in the short films.

Addictive Puzzle Game 'Tetris' To Become An 'Epic Sci-Fi Movie'

Threshold Entertainment, the company that brought video game franchise "Mortal Kombat" to the big screen has announced that it's set to bring another popular game to movie thieaters in the not-too-distant future: Tetris.

No, really.

The company's CEO, Larry Kasanoff, told the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday that Threshold has story in place that is "much more imaginative" than one might think, and that the film will be a "very big, epic sci-fi movie."

"This isn't a movie with a bunch of lines running around the page," he said. "We're not giving feet to the geometric shapes."
