Blonde Redhead is an alternative rock band, who formed in New York City in 1993. The band is comprised of Kazu Makino on vocals and guitar, and twin brothers Simone Pace on drums and vocals and Amedeo Pace on guitar. The Pace brothers were born in Milan, Italy, grew up in Montreal, and moved to Boston to study jazz. Upon graduating the brothers relocated to New York City to pursue music on the underground alternative scene. The brothers quickly recruited Japanese singer, Kazu Makino, after seeing her perform and the trio was formed. After the release of Blonde Redhead's 1995 self-titled debut, Maki Takahashi joined the band and was later replaced by bassist, Toko Yasuda, who also later left...
