Nick Carter was born January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York and rose to fame as a member of the pop boy-band Backstreet Boys. As a child Carter was drawn to singing, acting and performing. By the time he was 10 years old he was auditioning for television commercials. His feature film break came in the 1990 with the film, “Edward Scissorhands,” where he landed a small background role.
