Adam Cohen was born in Montreal Canada on September 18, 1972. Son of legendary song-writer and performer Leonard Cohen, Adam was signed to Columbia Records in 1997 and released his first album, the self titled “Adam Cohen” in 1998. The album was received very well by critics and despite the moderately successful single “Cry Ophelia,” taken from the album, the project never went anywhere after that. Cohen’s next project focused primarily on French material and he released the album “Mélancolista” on Capitol Records Canada in 2004.
