EMA is the stage name of Erika M. Anderson, a singer/songwriter from South Dakota. She was originally a member of the bands Amps for Christ and Gowns. EMA went solo in 2011 releasing her debut album, “Past Life Martyred Saints,” which debuted at #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The album featured contributions from former Gowns members including percussionist Corey Fogel, bassist Aaron Davis and keyboardist Ezra Buchla. Singles from the album included, “The Grey Ship,” “California” and “Milk Man.”
