Good Charlotte are an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland that formed on April 1, 1996. They took their name from the children's book “Good Charlotte: The Girls of Good Day Orphanage” written by Carol Beach York. Good Charlotte released their self-titled debut album, “Good Charlotte,” in September 2000 with the single "Little Things" which peaked at number twenty-three on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
