The Jungle Brothers are a hip-hop group that blend a fusion of jazz and hip-hop in their music and consist of Michael Small (a.k.a. Mike Gee), Nathaniel Hall (a.k.a. Afrika Baby Bam), and Sammy Burwell (a.k.a. DJ Sammy B). The group rose to prominence in the 1980s with their debut album, “Straight Out the Jungle” in 1988; the album contained Afrocentric lyrics set against a back drop of jazz, hip-hop, and house beats. The single “I'll House You,” became a hit on the dance club scene; one of the first songs to cross over from hip-hop audiences to the dance music audiences. Warner Bros.
