Scott Cooke "Scotty" McCreery (born October 9, 1993) is an American country singer from Garner, North Carolina, who won the tenth season of “American Idol” in 2011. At age 17, he is the second youngest “Idol” winner behind season six winner Jordin Sparks. McCreery released his coronation single, “I Love You This Big,” immediately after winning the tenth season of “American Idol.” The song entered the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at #32, becoming the highest initial entry for a debut single since 1990. It went on to peak at #17 on the Country chart and peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.
