Metro Station is an American pop rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California by Mason Musso and Trace Cyrus. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia/Red Ink. They release their self-titled debut album in 2007, reaching the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 Albums chart. The single, “Shake It,” peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. In March 2010, after a number of personal disputes between Musso and Cyrus in the studio, Metro Station went into indefinite hiatus as Musso and Cyrus split to pursue solo projects
