Calvin Richardson was born in Monroe, North Carolina and is an R&B/Soul singer and songwriter. Richardson rose to prominence during the early 1990s as the lead singer of the R&B group, Undacova. He parted ways with the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career. He signed with Uptown Records/Universal Records and released his debut album, “Country Boy,” in 1999. The album sold poorly and as a result, Richardson was dropped by Universal, but quickly signed with Hollywood Records. 2003 marked the release of his second album, “2:35PM.” The title of the album is a personal reference to the time that his first child was born.
