Ruff Ryders was a record label founded by brothers Darrin Dean and Joaquin Dean and known for managing rappers DMX and The Lox. The company was a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, before disbanding in 2010. After DMX's success, the management company started its own label imprint through Interscope Records, and had success with releases from rapper Eve, rappers Jadakiss, Drag-On and Jin. The Deans' nephew Swizz Beatz was the main producer for most of the acts on the roster.
