Stabbing Westward were an industrial rock/alternative band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 1985 and parted ways in 2002. Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus formed the band when they were still in college and moved to Chicago in 1986, with the original line-up consisting of Hall on bass and lead vocals, Flakus on keyboards, and Jim Clanin on guitar. In 1990 the band put out a four track EP called “Iwo Jimma.” The band's line-up changed somewhat with the addition of Jim Sellers on bass and Chris Vrenna on drums. The band was offered a deal with Columbia Records as Vrenna returned to his former band, Nine Inch Nails, and Dave Suycott stepped in on drums. The band's debut for the label,...
