Benedict Cumberbatch has issued an apology for referring to African-Americans as 'colored' during a talk show last Wednesday night.

Appearing on PBS' "Tavis Smiley," to promote his latest film, "The Imitation Game," Cumberbatch talked about racial diversity in British acting.

"I think as far as coloured actors go, it gets really difficult in the U.K., and a lot of my friends have had more opportunities here (in the U.S.) than in the U.K. and that's something that needs to change," the actor told Smiley, who is African-American.

A former Hollywood executive has come out and accused comedian Bill Cosby of drugging and raping her.

Cindra Ladd, the wife of Oscar-winning producer Alan Ladd Jr. ("Braveheart"), wrote an editorial called "Cosby: 'Trust Me'" for the Huffington Post on Monday, accusing Cosby of raping her in 1969, when she was just 21-years-old.

Ladd's story is very similar to those of over two dozen others who have come forward. She and Cosby became friends and would occasionally hang out, watching TV and movies with her roommate.

For those that were fans of the former Time Lord and tenth 'Doctor Who,' you'll be happy to hear that Netflix has cast and signed Scottish actor David Tennant to their upcoming series “Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones.”
