Brittany's 'The Voice' Blog: Catching Up With Season 1

The Voice Here's the latest on and around NBC's The Voice: I look back on what each team from Season 1 accomplished after the show. Who had the best 2010?

What happened after The Voice ended? We know that the Top 8 artists went on a national tour and that a CD of highlights was released. The majority of the artists continued to actively perform across the country, and the coaches kept themselves busy with touring, new albums and Grammy nominations.

Behind the scenes, Christina Milian replaced Alison Haislip as the show's social media correspondent, and teams were expanded from 8 to 12 artists for season two.

The show also moved from airing on Tuesdays with a results show on Wednesdays, to airing for two hours on Mondays, with a special premiere on Super Bowl Sunday.

And NBC capitalized on the show's popularity by selling Voice merchandise.

But what was the final score for your favorite team? Read on to find out...

Team Adam

The winning team from season 1 proved to be the busiest once the season ended. Champ Javier Colon released a new solo album (which included a duet with coach Adam Levine), as well as a Christmas EP. You can check out the video for his recent single, "As Long As We Got Love," below.

In addition to touring in support of his new album, Javier made several television appearances, including on NBC's Christmas In Rockefeller Center, and an episode of the network's now-cancelled The Playboy Club that went unaired (for now at least).

Team Adam semifinalist Casey Weston re-released her self-titled debut album. You can also read my catch-up interview with Casey.

Rebecca Loebe is in the process of fundraising to record a new album of her own. Here's my catch-up interview with Rebecca.

And Tim Mahoney released a new single about his time on the series, appropriately titled "Hey Adam Levine." Here's my catch-up interview with Tim, who recently announced via Facebook that he's going to audition for season two of The X Factor. I wish Tim plenty of good luck!

Jeff Jenkins is exploring career opportunities while attending college. You can read my catch-up interview with Jeff.

Meanwhile, Casey Desmond continues to play frequently on the East Coast. Tonight she'll be appearing in Kingfield, ME. You can find out more details by clicking this link. And here's my catch-up interview with her.

Team Blake

The country star's team is no slouch either. Runner-up Dia Frampton is making the most of her new opportunities. Not only is she touring with coach Blake Shelton through March, she's also just announced a slew of dates where she'll be headlining. Click here to see all of Dia's tour dates.

Dia also released her own solo album, Red (on which Blake appears), shot a music video for the first single "The Broken Ones," and made some TV appearances of her own. Here's my catch-up interview with Dia.

Semifinalist Xenia appeared on Jon McLaughlin's newest album Forever If Ever; she performed on the duet "Maybe It's Over." In addition to that, she recently released her own EP, Sing You Home.

Team Cee Lo

Three artists from Team Red Zone have had music in the works. Finalist Vicci Martinez is working on a new album that is tentatively due out next month. Here's my catch-up interview with Vicci, who also dropped in on Beverly McClellan's appearance at The Mint in early December.

Meanwhile, lovable big man Nakia did some early touring and released the holiday single "Remember This Christmas." You can read my catch-up interview with Nakia.

And Curtis Grimes put out the EP "Doin' My Time" while also appearing with Beverly at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles for one evening.

Team Christina

It's Christina's finalist Beverly who's been doing most of the heavy lifting for the diva's team. In addition to releasing her new album "Fear Nothing" she has been touring extensively across the country. You can read my catch-up interview with Beverly, as well as my reports from her appearance in San Diego and her set in Los Angeles.

Her teammate Frenchie Davis has also made a few public appearances.

Now, if you don't see an artist listed in this roundup, it doesn't mean that they've fallen off the face of the earth. Many of them are still performing, whether it's touring or working on a new album in the studio. I just don't have anything major to report for them just yet. 2012 is a new year, and I expect to hear much more from the entire Voice family!

The Voice returns to NBC on February 5, 2012 following the Super Bowl. Until then, for more on the show, you can visit my Voice archive at Big Red Chairs.
