You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.
Britney Spears Case Dismissed: Was Britney able to defeat Sam Lufti's case without even appearing in court?
Verdict: True. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Suzanne Brugera has dismissed the case, according to RumorFix. Lufti says he plans to appeal, but for now the jury will be informed of the dismissal and the case will be thrown out until Lufti's appeal is heard.
Chris Brown's Weed Troubles: Has Brown dodged further legal trouble after he was caught spoking marijuana while on probation?
Verdict: True. Judge Patricia Schnegg gave Brown a break, mentioning his glowing reviews regarding his probationary work that included picking up trash. Brown previously said an acupuncturist gave him the green light to smoke pot.
Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler On The Edge? In Touch Magazine is reporting Kristin Cavallari and quarterback boyfriend Jay Cutler are "on the rocks" because Cutler is always on the road working and has no time to help Kristin raise their 11 week-old son.
Verdict: False. A source told Gossip Cop that the rumors are false and everything's fine. In Touch tried to expand a single quote from Cavallari ("If everything were in Chicago it would be fine. Because I’m traveling, it’s hard"), and tried to make a big deal out of it.
