Taylor Swift's 'Red' Sets Sales Records

Taylor Swift Taylor Swift's fourth album has made music history. In the first week of its release, her album Red has sold 1.2 million copies - the most for the first week of an album's release since 2002.
Swift is also the first woman to have two albums the broke the 1 million mark in their first weeks; her third album Speak Now also performed the feat, according to the Associated Press.
To better understand the enormity of her sales numbers: She quadrupled the sales of Justin Bieber's over-hyped "Believe" album in its first week.
Eminem's 2002 release "The Eminem Show" was the last album to sell as many in the first week.
