You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.
PETA Attacks Twilight Premiere: Did animal rights group PETA really take on the ever-popular Twilight series? Reports say the group is furious over a Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere party stunt that included caged wolves.
Verdict: True. "Didn’t it dawn on the Twilight event organizers that real wolves do not belong at a party with blaring music and flashing lights?" PETA's statement reads.
"The wolves were provided by Hollywood Animals, a notorious exhibitor that has been cited for numerous violations of the Animal Welfare Act for repeatedly failing to provide the animals it exploits with basic veterinary care, proper shelter, food, and water.
"We hope the rest of the promotional events surrounding Breaking Dawn celebrates the brilliant work of the cast and crew and shows enough respect for wildlife to leave animals out of it."
We agree with everything except the "brilliant work" part.
Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Off The Hook: Is Jon Bon Jovi's daughter not facing charges for possession of heroine after her overdose? Does his celebrity staus have anything to do with it?
Verdict: Charges Dropped - Due To Recent Law: Stephanie Rose won't be facing charges due to a 2011 Good Samaritan law that states victims of an overdose and anyone with them will not be charged for drug crimes - as long as they sought out help. Thus, the man Stephanie was with at the time won't be facing charges either.
Justin Bieber Proposed Multiple Times To Selena Gomez: Talk about heartbreak! Did Biebs really get down on a knee and ask Selena to be with him for the rest of his life, only to be rebuked and dumped? Perez Hilton claims, "Biebs proposed to her months ago and she said no. Supposedly she said to wait a few months. So he did, but she said no AGAIN!"
Verdict: False. A source close to the situation told Gossip Cop, "There was never a proposal." The site also goes on to explain the rumor was sourced by a blind item, which are extremely unreliable.
