Rumor Patrol: Stars Turn Down 'Most Fascinating People', Justin Bieber Retiring, More

You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.
Stars Turn Down Barbara Walters: Angry that Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian were picked as Barbara Walter's Most Fascinating People? Well, it might not be Barbara's fault: RadarOnline claims several stars - such as Jay-Z, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Downey, Jr. - turned down the award so that they wouldn't have to deal with an intrusive interview from the venerable newswoman.
Verdict: False. First of all, an interview is not mandatory to be included on the list of Most Fascinating People - so someone turning down the chance to chat with Walters would not bar them from the list. As Gossip Cop points out, Kanye West, Kardashian, Prince George (yes, the baby), and Edward Snowden (for obvious reasons) did not have interviews for the list. A source also tells Gossip Cop there's "no truth" to RadarOnline's story.
Justin Bieber Retires: For the second time in a week, Justin Bieber has announced his retirement. Following a radio interview in which he said he was quitting, Bieber went on Twitter and posted "My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring," and, "The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle." So is the teen ready to relax on a pile of cash for the rest of his years?
Verdict: False. Bieber is a notorious prankster - but even if he wasn't, we aren't going to believe (beliebe?) he's stopping until his music stops selling. The media may be a pain for the teen, but Bieber is here to stay.
Selena Gomez Heads To Rehab: Selena Gomez said she needed to "spend some time on myself" when she cancelled a series of shows in Asia and Australia. But Is Gomez really headed to rehab? Star magazine seems to think so, saying Gomez is quietly fixing herself after partying too much.
Verdict: False. Gomez hasn't done anything close to something that deserves rehab. It just sounds like she needs a break after being over-worked.
