Producers Race To Finish Scarlett Johansson's 'Avengers' Scenes After Pregnancy Announcement

March 4th, 2014 8:03pm EST

Scarlett Johansson Director Joss Whedon and the producers of The Avengers: Age of Ultron film are working on a plan to keep Scarlett' Johansson's Black Widow from having a baby bump.
It was reported yesterday Johansson was pregnant with her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, and some outlets claimed Scarlett could be five months pregnant. That bit of news could be a problem for the svelte and cat suit-wearing Black Widow.
If Johansson has been pregnant for this long, it's possible she let producers know some time ago and a contingency plan is already in place. A source has told E! the studio will fast-track Scarlett's scenes in the upcoming blockbuster to make sure the film is on time.
Scarlett is currently doing promotions for this year's Captain America: Winter Soldier. Word is once those are finished she will be whisked off for some quick filming and she will be added to any group scenes thanks to the magic of post-production.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is due in theaters May 2015 and Captain America: Winter Soldier is set to hit theaters this April. More importantly, Scarlett is due in August!
