Johnny Depp: My Daughter Won’t Let Me Go To Concerts With Her

FFN_Depp_Johnny_GGFF_062513_51139600 Johnny Depp posed for photos outside the Late Show With David Letterman studio in New York City on Tuesday (June 25). In the interview that aired on Thursday – the Lone Ranger star talked about the musical interests of his 14-year-old daughter Lily-Rose.

He explained that two years ago he took her to see a Justin Bieber concert and got her in backstage to meet him.

“We brought her to the show and introduced them and it was quite astonishing to see your child in this kind of like frozen [state].”

The 50-year-old actor added, “She thinks that Bieber is obviously talented and stuff, but she’s now moving into other arenas of music in her life. The sounds are changing now.”

E! News reports he also mentioned that she doesn’t like dad along on concerts anymore.

“She prefers I didn’t go to concerts with her, especially don’t take her to concerts,” Depp said. “No, [that's] out of the question.”
