Kanye West Slammed Over 'Distasteful' Parkinson's Lyric

June 19th, 2013 3:24pm EDT

Kanye West Health advocacy groups are slamming Kanye West for rapping about Parkinson's disease in a new song.

"On Sight," from the rapper's latest album "Yeezus," has been called "distasteful" due to a line that references the degenerative disorder, which causes victims to shake.

West raps, "A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this b**ch shaking like Parkinson's."

The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), which is dedicated to finding a cure and helping those diagnosed with the condition, is unhappy with the lyric.

Kathryn Whitford of APDA told, "We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance."

West, whose girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to the couple's first child on Saturday, hasn't commented on the issue.
