June 26th, 2013 1:18pm EDT

Ludacris Hip-hop star Ludacris has been hit with a lawsuit over allegations of copyright infringment.

Little known Chicago, Illinois rapper Marvo is suing the Area Codes hitmaker over his song Sex Room, which the plaintiff claims he had been working on with producer Kajun in 2009.

He alleges Kajun sold the track to Ludacris without his knowledge, but kept many of Marvo's original lyrics and later released it as a duet with R&B singer Trey Songz in 2010.

Marvo insists he has not received any payment for his work and is demanding an unspecified amount of compensation from both Ludacris and Songz, reports TMZ.com.
