Comic bosses plan Prometheus follow-up

July 4th, 2013 8:41pm EDT

Prometheus Bosses at Dark Horse comics are hoping to fill in the gaps between Ridley Scott's 2012 movie Prometheus and the moviemaker's Alien trilogy in a new graphic novel series.

Dark Horse Entertainment publisher and founder Mike Richardson tells The Hollywood Reporter that he and others are "brewing something up", hinting that an official announcement could be released during this month's (Jul13) Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California.

Dark Horse has published Aliens comics on a regular basis since 1988, and the company actually originated the Aliens Vs. Predator concept, which was adapted into two films.
