DMX Files For Bankruptcy

DMX Troubled rapper Dmx has filed for bankruptcy after wracking up millions of dollars in debts.

The hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, lodged legal papers at the United States Bankruptcy Court in New York City on Monday, revealing he has less than $50,000 in assets and debts of more than $1 million.

The paperwork states his total debt ranges from between $1 million to $10 million, but at least $1.2 million is owed in child support payments.

The news comes just days after he was arrested in South Carolina on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was later released without charge.
