Christina Aguilera picks Ed Sheeran for The Voice

Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera has picked singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran to mentor her team of hopefuls on American TV talent show The Voice.

The Beautiful singer has returned to the show after a season's break and she has invited Taylor Swift's flame-haired pal and tourmate to help her advise the wannabes she picks to take on those selected by rival judges Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton.

Sheeran, who has written hits for Swift and One Direction, will join Aguilera for The Voice's battle rounds in October (13).
