Members of rock acts Ratt and Dokken were forced to scramble out of a plane in Illinois on Saturday (17Aug13) after a fire broke out in the cockpit.
The pilot of the chartered plane had to make an emergency landing in Moline after noticing smoke shortly after take-off from the same airport.
Ratt alerted fans to the mid-air drama in a post on the band's Facebook.com page, writing, "We are ok!"
The rockers boarded another plane and were still able to make their joint show at Chicago's Deacons Event Center.
