Country music superstar Tim Mcgraw is throwing his support behind a campaign honouring heroic medical emergency responders.
The Live Like You Were Dying hitmaker is teaming up with bosses at battery firm Duracell to create a video series recognising the efforts of emergency first responders.
The singer recently visited staff at the New York City Fire Department and admits hearing the brave workers' stories made him feel even more dedicated to the campaign to give away one million batteries across the country.
He says, "They asked me to be a part of this because we are doing a series called Quantum Heroes, an online series that I'm hosting. It just tells stories of these great, great first responders who do so many great things for our communities. It started here with the FDNY and they're going to do this all over the country. They're going to give away their Quantum batteries."
