Bill Murray pays anniversary visit to Letterman dressed as Liberace

Bill Murray Bill Murray made his 26th appearance on David Letterman's late-night show extra special by dressing up as Liberace and exiting a white luxury car as part of his hilarious entrance.

The fun-loving movie star, who was Letterman's first-ever guest on The Late Show, returned to the programme on Thursday (29Aug13) to tape his appearance on the host's 20th anniversary episode, and he had a big surprise in store for fans.

Murray's car was pushed onto the studio stage by white-suited assistants and the Lost in Translation star stepped out wearing a replica flamboyant Liberace outfit and carrying a white dog in his arms.

Handing his pooch to the chauffeur, Murray joked, "I had to get something that went with this outfit."
