Louis Tomlinson was forced to limp off a soccer field to vomit after he was tackled during a charity game on Sunday (08Sep13).
The One Direction star was left clutching his leg and writhing in agony after professional player Gabriel Agbonlahor knocked him to the ground during the friendly match in front of 60,000 spectators in Glasgow, Scotland.
The singer was in too much pain to continue so he hobbled off the field, where he was seen vomiting on the sidelines after he was substituted.
Agbonlahor, who was subjected to death threats from angry fans via Twitter.com, apologised for the clash, insisting, "It was just one of those things. I'll apologise to Louis when we meet up with everybody else after the game. I know he enjoyed playing in the game and it's fantastic that he took time out to be here."
The game was held to raise money for a cancer charity founded by retired soccer star Stiliyan Petrov, who was diagnosed with acute leukaemia last year (12).
