The Wanted: 'Justin Bieber collaboration was too R&B'

Justin Bieber The Wanted dropped a Justin Bieber collaboration from their new album because it was "too R&B".

The boy band's song with the Baby hitmaker was supposed to feature on their new album Word of Mouth in November (13), but groupmember Siva Kaneswaran recently admitted the song was cut from the final tracklisting.

Now his bandmate Tom Parker has opened up about the reason behind the decision, insisting it just wasn't the right sound for the Glad You Came hitmakers.

Parker tells, "The Justin track, it was gonna be on there and then on further thought it didn't quite sit within the album. Maybe for the next album, but I think maybe it was a bit R&B for the album. But, I mean, the song's great, so yeah, for this album it's just The Wanted."

The band has also ditched a Rita Ora collaboration.
