Soul superstar Mary J. Blige is countersuing concert promoters over a scrapped gig last year (12), accusing the organisers of breach of contract.
Bosses at promotions company Vision Entertainment Worldwide sued Blige in June (13) for allegedly reneging on a deal to perform in Dallas, Texas on 9 December (12).
In the suit, the plaintiffs claimed the No More Drama hitmaker was paid a $145,000 (£93,500) deposit to secure the gig, but she never handed back the money when the show was axed.
Now Blige is fighting back in court, filing her own papers alleging promoters failed to book first class travel for her and her crew.
Documents obtained by TMZ.com show that Blige is refusing to hand back the deposit, and is demanding the balance of the deal, which stands at another $105,000 (£70,000).
