Former Chumbawamba star Alice Nutter's new play My Generation has opened in northern England.
The Tubthumping star has won acclaim for the theatrical piece, about four decades of a family's life in Leeds, England.
Nutter's play covers the rise of radical feminism, the drama surrounding the Yorkshire Ripper's murders, Britain's miners' strike, and the recent recession and ongoing economic crisis.
The play runs throughout October (13) at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
