Justin Lin The man behind the thrills and spills in the Fast & Furious movies has been handed another major film franchise - he'll take over Universal's Bourne finale.

Justin Lin, who has directed the last four Fast & Furious movies, will take charge of the follow-up to last year's (12) The Bourne Legacy, which starred Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross.

Lin recently quit the seventh Fast & Furious movie due to the project's accelerated schedule.

Movie insiders believe Lin's Bourne film will be the franchise's last. Matt Damon starred as Jason Bourne in the series' first three films, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.
