Title: "Death Race 3: Inferno"
Grade: 3

Director: Roel Reine
Rating: R
Runtime: 106 minutes
Release Company: Universal Home Entertainment

The Flick: "Death Race 3: Inferno" is a pretty standard what you see is what you get. Entertaining and fast paced "Death Race 3", amidst being fluffy in the substance arena, does keep the goods going with cool car crashes, a myriad of hotties and a gaggle of new crazed drivers. Back are Luke Gross and his team with notable new additions like bad guy Dougray Scott and ‘psycho’ driver Jeremy Crutchley. Look, it’s not rocket science and won’t change lives, but for a third outing of an already mediocre series (Paul W.S. Anderson’s flick wasn’t all that memorable!) it gets the fast cars, fast women and fast kills thing done decent – with a pinch of style too.
Best Feature: The surprisingly candid 'Commentary' with director Roel Reine (he drove some of the cars for fun – don’t tell Universal!) also provides some great insight for aspiring filmmakers. (He goes so far as to even tell the budget and cool shortcuts like using some of the leftover cars from the bigger budgeted "Fast Five!") A great listen.
Best Hidden Gem: The sexy, brutal and all around eye pleasing...girl fight!
Worth the Moola: If you dug the other two and want to keep the Death party going this installment will fulfill your meager needs.
