Tony Senzamici - An Actor With Lots of Character!
For some acting is a craft learned through rigorous classes and practice, while for others it’s simply a natural gift. Tony Senzamici began his career in a way that would make most acting coaches cringe with disdain, landing his first role as Officer Broley in the play “Arsenic and Old Lace” to win a gentleman’s bet with his college buddies. Although Senzamici is not a big name within the industry just yet, he is a well-respected journeyman actor who is hand picked for his innate ability to make a considerable impression in the length of time he spends on screen, whether short or long.
Since re-committing to acting in 2008 after many years of success in entrepreneurial business, Senzamici has been on hit TV shows including “Memphis Beat”, “The Glades”, “Burn Notice”, “Treme” and “Homeland” among many others. Most recently he is a reoccurring character in the STARZ blockbuster “Magic City”. Being the son of a retired police officer helps explain his knack for the many law enforcement roles received throughout his career.
Although acting teeters at the forefront of his life at the present moment, his passion also stays local in his hometown of Lakeland, California. With the money raised from his business career, Senzamici opened a charity that helps those in financial misfortune within the community. It has helped the lives of many who aren’t lucky enough to get the funds they need to pay for crucial items such as Hospital bills.
Currently, Senzamici is set to star in the new highly anticipated USA Network drama “Graceland” playing a shopowner, far different from the majority of his roles in the past. It’ll be exciting to see what he brings to the character, as USA doesn’t hide its focus on the depth and quality of characters in their shows.
“Graceland” is birthed from the creator of “White Collar” and directed by legend Renny Harlin. The show will premiere on June 6th of this year.
