Daft Punk French EDM duo Daft Punk have topped the U.S. album charts for their first time with latest album, "Random Access Memories."

The new disc topped the U.S. album chart with 340,000 sales in its first week of sales.

New releases from Darius Rucker ("True Believers"), The National ("Trouble Will Find") and French Montana ("Excuse My French") have debuted in the number two, three and four spots, respectively. Sales from the three albums were no match for "Random Access Memories," which outsold all three combined.

The new top five on the Billboard 200 chart is rounded out by the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby, which features songs from the likes of Beyonce, Gotye, Will.i.am and Lana Del Rey, rounds out this week's top five.
