A "major character" on "The Simpsons" will be killed off within the next year. The show's producer, Al Jean confirmed the news and only gave one clue about who it could possibly be: the actor who voices the character won an Emmy for playing that character. That narrows it down to about the entire main cast since they've all won Emmys for the show. Our guesses are pictured above and below. (story)

Singer Kimberly Perry, of The Band Perry, is engaged to Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia. The couple got engaged on her parents' property in Greeneville, Tenn., on Monday. The couple met in Florida in February 2012 and started dating shortly after. In addition to the surprise proposal, her parents had a few things to surprise her with as well. (story)

Kim Kardashian is finally out of hiding. The reality TV star jetted off to Paris with beau Kanye West for Fashion Week, where she's been spotted wearing numerous cleavage-bearing outfits and getting herself lots of attention. The couple appeared at the Givenchy Womenswear show on Sunday night, where she wore a black dress with a big slit up the leg. The couple are in the city sans four-month-old daughter North. (story)

The second trailer for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" has been released, and in this clip we see plenty of action, a few new faces and the most important thing of all: we hear the dragon Smaug, voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, talk for the first time. And it's glorious. (story)
