Kate Winslet 'Doing Great' After Giving Birth To Third Child
Actress Kate Winslet has given birth to her first child with new husband Ned Rocknroll.
The British star's rep confirmed that she welcomed her third child, a son, at a hospital in Sussex, England, on Saturday.
"Mother and baby are doing great," the rep said in a statment.
The "Titanic" star married Rocknroll, who is the nephew of billionaire Richard Branson, in a ceremony in New York City last year. She has two other children, daughter Mia, 13, from her marriage to movie director Jim Threapleton; and son Joe, 9, with director Sam Mendes.
The couple chose to wait to share their happy news in order to avoid the headlines for a few extra days.
Winslet and Rocknroll met at Branson's Necker Island estate in the British Virgin Islands in 2011, during a trip when lightning struck the guest house she was staying in and set it afire. Winslet helped Branson's 90-year-old mother to safety.
