Brandy Tops Leader Board, Bristol Palin Scores Last As Gorilla On 'Dancing With The Stars'
Last night Dancing With The Stars marked the half way point of the show. TV theme show was the theme of the night for the first time ever. This basically meant that the dancers got to dance and perform to a popular television theme song. For Mrs. Brady (Florence Henderson) she got to perform to the song we all think of when we hear her name. As for Bristol Palin, she got to dress up as a Gorilla (on her birthday, no less).
How did the dancers do?
Here is an overview of the night of what each dancer scored each night, according to performance:
Brandy Norwood and Maksim Chemerkouskiy scored a 27 dancing a quick step to the theme of Friends. What did the judges say about their performance: Len thought it was their best dane yet.
Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas scored a 21 dancing a tango to the theme of The Brady Bunch. What did the judges say about their performance? Carrie Anne called Florence a sexy senior. Len then said he wished he was a sexy senior. Florence promptly gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He then said it was her best dance so far.
Kurt Warner and Anna Treburnskaya scored a 24 dancing a quick step to the theme of Bewitch. What did the judges say about their performance? “Wonderful,” Carrie Anne said. “Vast improvement,” Len said.
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani scored a 23 dancing a Rumba to theme of The Hills, the show Audrina stars. What did the judges have to say about their performance? “Technical improvement. But I want pulsating passion,” Bruno yelled. Carrie Anne said she wondered if she saw a lift in their performance, a big no, no.
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer scored a 20 dancing a Fox Trot to theme of Charlie’s Angels. What did the judges say about their performance? “Fun, but not enough fox trot in it,” Bruno said. “You made a real Grovy Charlie. I like the 70’s” Carrie Anne said. “It started bad and it got worse and worse,” Len said.
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke scored a 24 dancing a Ruba to the theme of Hill Street Blues. What did the judges say about their performance? “It should be a crime to look that good and Ruba that good,” Carrie Anne said. “Good show,” Len said. “Mega Smooth,” Bruno said.
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas scored a 18 dancing a jive to the theme of The Monkeys (and also beginning the dance dressed as monkeys). What did the judges say about their performance? “I like the monkey suits” Len said. “I like the twist” Bruno said. Yet, he went on to say that she lost her timing. “You forgot some of the moves,” Carrie Anne said.
Jennifer Gray and Derek Hough scored a 25 dancing a Fox Trot to the Married With Children. What did the judges say? “Elegant,” Bruno said. “Good, not nearly your best,” Carrie Anne said. “Too theatrical,” Len said.
Who will be eliminated tonight? Will it be Bristol who scored in last place? It is up to the voters now.
