Tom Hanks' Rapper Son Chet Invades 'Hollywood'

Chet Hanks If Tom Hanks, the Jimmy Stewart of our time, started a rap career, we could probably safely posit that as proof of the coming end of days.

While the two-time Academy Award-winner has no future plans (that we know of) to drop any phat beats, his progeny has thrown his hat into the R&B arena. Has Chet Hanks got game?

Going under the name Chet Haze, the son of Gump is going for it in a big way dropping his new single "Hollywood," and as evident in the music video he's got a certain charisma with the ladies.

In the clip he's a fashion photographer/movie director (yes, both) who knows all the casting couch lingo and tries to make his pick-up lines less skeezy by singing them. Good tactic, Chet.

Haze has previously flirted with superstardom as "Student in Library" in the recent "Indiana Jones" film or as "Pizza Delivery Boy" in his dad's pet project "Larry Crowne," but we think rapping could be his ticket to the big time.
