Screenwriting efforts like "Jennifer's Body" may not have set the world on fire, but Academy Award-winner Diablo Cody was officially back in our good graces after the awesomeness that was "Young Adult."

According to The Playlist the "Juno" scribe may be winning our favor once again by casting Nick Offerman in her upcoming directorial debut, formerly titled "Lamb Of God."

It is unknown what part has been offered (get it?) to Offerman, best known to fans of NBC's "Parks & Recreation" for rocking that mustache as libertarian man's man/Parks Department head Ron Swanson.

Cody's story follows a "Christian girl (Julianne Hough), who survives a plane crash but is left with horrific burns. With her faith gone, she travels to Las Vegas in order to experience the more sinful side of life, and befriends Loray (Octavia Spencer), a craps dealer, and William (Russell Brand), a bartender."

Holly Hunter plays Hough's evangelical mom from hell, and the currently-sans-title film will lens this spring. Knowing Cody it will no doubt feature quips aplenty, despite the semi-serious nature of the plot.

Offerman will also have plenty of time to shine next month with character roles in major comedies "21 Jump Street" (alongside Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum) and Will Ferrell's Spanish-language telenovela saga "Casa De Mi Padre."
