Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Go 'Gigli' With 'Relanxious'

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are bringing their off-screen romance to the big screen.
The real-life couple will play a make-believe couple plagued by all sorts of neuroses that put severe limitations on their relationship in the new romantic comedy, "Relanxious," according to Deadline.
"Relanxious" (not the best title in the world, is it?) chronicles the courtship between Barrett (Wilde), a young woman who suffers from extreme anxiety, and George (Sudeikis), a severe agoraphobic. Their relationship is limited to a series of phone calls that consist of conversations about the dates they would go on if they could just conjure the courage to leave their respective apartments and face the outside world.
Puts a whole new spin on the idea of "existential romance," doesn't it?
This somewhat depressing-sounding comedy co-stars Brie Larson (who will be soon be seen in "21 Jump Street," opening March 16) as Barrett's sister and Fred Armisen (Sudeikis' "SNL" pal who's also currently moonlighting on IFC's "Portlandia") as George's friend and only contact with the outside world. The film will mark the feature directorial debut of Christopher Storer.
Will Wilde and Sudeikis be able to dodge the curse of "Gigli," the would-be comedy that paired up real-life lovebirds Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez? Maybe since their actual screen time together is somewhat limited (they're on the phone a lot in "Relanxious"), they have a shot?
Olivia Wilde recently wrapped "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" and is currently filming Ron Howard's car racing drama, "Rush." Jason Sudeikis can currently be seen on HBO's "Eastbound & Down" and will next be seen with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis in "The Campaign," opening Aug. 10.
"Relanxious" begins shooting in Chicago this summer. Hopefully the stars won't break up before then.
