Arnold Schwarzenegger To Produce, Appear In Showtime Bodybuilding Drama 'Pump'

Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Schwarzenegger has sold a new drama about Los Angeles' fitness culture in the 1970s to cable network Showtime.
If the pilot episode is a hit and the project turns into a series, the former bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-governor will have a reoccuring role on the show, titled "Pump."
According to the network, the hour-long program will follow the origins of the fitness industry and look at the "culture of body worship" through the eyes of a gym in Venice Beach.
Schwarzenegger will executive produce.
After giving up his political career, Schwarzenegger returned to acting in "The Expendables" and "The Last Stand." He has also signed on to "The Legend Of Conan," a sequel to his massively popular 1982 flick "Conan the Barbarian."
