Mariah Carey Wears A Fancy Fur Sling During Sandy Relief Benefit Concert

Despite dislocating her shoulder last week while shooting a music video, Mariah Carey was in fine form during a performance at Central Park in New York City on Saturday.
The pop star attended the Major League Baseball All-Star Charity Concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy and dazzled in a tight, white Natalia Danilova gown. Her best accessory was the sling on her right arm covered by a fur stole made by Gucci.
Carey pointed towards her sling and told the crowd she was "getting creative" with her fashion. She then asked the concertgoers: "Is this working? Do we like it?" They cheered in response.
When she did a costume change, Carey donned a sparking black dress with a feathered sling - an obvious attempt to hide what could have been a boring medical accessory.
Carey confessed to the crowd that she was in a "tiny bit of pain" during the performance.
The superstar was filming a video on Sunday, July 7, for a remix of her track "#Beautiful" with rapper Young Jeezy when she fell and had to be treated at a New York hospital for her injuries.
But like any consummate professional, Carey knows the show must go on!
