Lea Michele Films Emotional Scene On 'Glee' Set In NYC

Lea Michele Lea Michele put on a brave face while filming scenes for "Glee" in New York City on Monday. The actress is focusing on her work following the death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, who passed away over the summer from a drug and alcohol overdose.

The actress walked through Central Park wearing a bright pink trench coat, and at one point she leaned over a bridge and filmed an emotional scene for the cameras.
The 27-year-old tweeted that she was filming in the city and shared a selfie in front of the "Funny Girl" theater on Broadway.

She is pictured with a wide grin on her face in front of the St. James Theatre. At the end of season four, Michele's character, Rachel Berry, was vying for the lead role of Fanny Brice in the musical revival.
