Ron Perlman dons Hellboy makeup to make a wish come true It's not often that a red-faced demon is called on to raise the spirits of a sick little boy. However, that's exactly what leukemia patient Zachary, 6, wanted for his wish through the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

A tall order? Not really — Ron Perlman, the actor that portrayed Hellboy in the 2004 and 2008 movie adaptations — was more than happy to put on the makeup to make his wish come true.

"When the Make-A-Wish Foundation contacted Spectral Motion with this request, Mike [from Spectral Motion studios] thought it would be fantastic to have Ron Perlman reprise his role for the day," the studio wrote on Facebook. "Ron loved the idea and donned the makeup once more and also ordered a Hellboy-sized meal of burgers, shakes and fries for Zachary and his family and the entire Spectral crew to enjoy."

That wasn't all: Zachary also transformed into mini-Hellboy with the assistance of makeup artists Lufeng Ou and Neil Winn. And how did Zachary like it? He loved it, from the looks of the photos on Facebook.

This isn’t the first time Spetral Studios granted a wish for a sick child. The special effects studio also welcomed Caleb a few weeks ago.

"Caleb was very inquisitive about every aspect of the studio and loved puppeteering some of the animatronic characters on display," the studio wrote on Facebook, along with some photos of the visit. "Caleb was also extremely fascinated with our reference library. Artist Tim Gore donated a few of his own books for Caleb's collection."

So. Cool.

This is how celebs need to treat their fans — especially the young ones.
