Babylon 5 Actor Michael O'Hare Dies

Stage and screen actor Michael O’Hare – known best as Commander Jeffrey Sinclair on “Babylon 5” – has died at the age of 60.  O’Hare died Sept. 28 days after a heart attack. 


“Babylon 5” creator J. Michael Straczynski released the news via his Facebook page.  Straczynski said, “This is a terrible loss for all B5 fans and everyone involved with the show wishes to convey their condolences to the O'Hare family. He was an amazing man."


Throughout his career O’Hare appeared on Broadway including the role of Col. Jessep in “A Few Good Men” and on screen in “Babylon 5”, “T.J. Hooker”, “Trapper John, MD”, the daytime drama “One Life to Live”, “L.A. Law”, and “Law & Order”.  O’Hare last appeared on television in 2000.
