America's Got Talent America has spoken, voting 38-year-old Japanese dancer Kenichi Ebina the winner of the eighth season of America's Got Talent Wednesday night.

The six finalists were whittled down to just two over the course of the two-hour finale, with angelic-voiced singer Cami Bradley, 25, the first to exit the show. She was followed by 16-year-old aspiring magician Collins Key, whose sleight-of-hand card tricks were some of the best ever; and Opera trio Forte, who often left nary a dry eye in the Radio City Music Hall audience during their final performances, finished fourth.

Then it was down to the final three, 32-year-old U.S. Marines veteran and country singer Jimmy Rose, comedian Taylor Williamson, 26, and Ebina.

Rose went first, before the obligatory commercial break leaving TV viewers on the edge of their seats to wait for the results of their calling and texting votes.

In the end it was Ebina edging out Williamson and landing the $1 million prize and a headlining gig in Las Vegas.

"Oh my God, I don't know what I can tell, but it's amazing," Kenichi said. "Also, I want to thank my wife and daughter [for] being supportive all the way through. And my mom, brother, sister, and all my friends -- and all the fan support. [It's] crazy!"
Williamson, whose nearly every word is inflected with some sort of humor, said he was grateful for the opportunity to be on the show, comparing his second-place finish to something one does in the bathroom.
"Number two -- that's kind of disgusting, that number, but thank you so much you guys for making my dreams come true. Thank you!"
The show's finale was a star-studded event, filled with performances from the likes of Earth, Wind and Fire, Icona Pop, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Heather Headley, Il Divo and Josh Groban.
